Although the fragile ceasefire between the two countries has not officially collapsed, both sides continue accusing each other of violating its terms, keeping tensions elevated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The U.S. said Monday it began preventing ships from entering or leaving Iranian ports via the key oil route to pressure Tehran after peace talks broke down. Iranian officials warned the move could push global energy prices higher, signaling further volatility in fuel markets worldwide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Despite these concerns, crude prices slipped slightly, with West Texas Intermediate falling about 2% and Brent crude declining nearly 2% during late U.S. trading hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Regional markets responded positively. Japan\u2019s Nikkei 225 rose more than 2%, while the Topix also advanced. Australia\u2019s S&amp;P\/ASX 200 posted modest gains, although business confidence weakened amid concerns over the Iran conflict and its impact on global oil prices. Mainland China\u2019s CSI300 and Hong Kong\u2019s Hang Seng indexes also moved higher.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, China\u2019s export growth slowed to 2.5% in March as rising energy and commodity costs weighed on manufacturers.
