Markets Update:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

 Stock futures rose early Thursday as investors assessed fresh earnings from Nvidia and other major technology companies, while attention turned toward the Federal Reserve\u2019s annual symposium in Jackson Hole.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dow Jones Industrial Average futures gained 183 points, or 0.3%. S&P 500 futures advanced 0.5%, while Nasdaq 100 futures jumped 0.8%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Asian markets were mixed. Japan\u2019s Nikkei 225 rose 0.32% and the Topix gained 0.27%. South Korea\u2019s Kospi climbed 1.83%, while the Kosdaq added 1.15%. Australia\u2019s S&P\/ASX 200 fell 0.93%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nvidia shares climbed more than 4% after the chipmaker beat analyst expectations and projected strong revenue growth. Fiscal second-quarter revenue more than doubled from a year earlier and exceeded forecasts by the largest margin in two years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The results could help Nvidia break a recent pattern of falling after earnings despite delivering stronger-than-expected results. Shares declined more than 1% Wednesday, marking the stock\u2019s eighth losing session in the past nine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Salesforce surged 13% after reporting second-quarter revenue above Wall Street estimates, while Okta jumped more than 20% after exceeding expectations and highlighting strong demand linked to agentic AI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The major indexes ended Wednesday little changed. Investors are now focused on the Jackson Hole symposium, which begins Thursday, along with upcoming corporate earnings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Best Buy reports before the opening bell, while Workday, Affirm and Gap are scheduled to report after the close.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
