Funds Withdrawal

For faster processing all account holders are now required to submit withdrawal requests from inside their Secure Client Area. If you do not yet have access to your Secure Client Area please follow the Access Instructions.

Important Notes:

  • Withdrawal requests cut off time is 12:00 AEST/AEDT. If your withdrawal is submitted before this time it will be processed on the day of receipt. If your withdrawal is submitted after this time it will be processed on the following business day.
  • Deposits will need to be returned to the original payment method before using a different method.
  • The requested withdrawal amount should be less than or equal to the account balance at the time of the processing of your withdrawal request.
  • There should be at least 100% free margin available in your trade account. This requirement is in place to reduce the likelihood of a margin call.
  • IC Markets does not charge any additional fees for deposits or withdrawals. You should however be aware that you may incur fees, such as intermediary fees, on payments to and from some international banking institutions. IC Markets accepts no responsibility for any such bank fees.
  • International Bank Wire Transfers may take up to 14 days and incur additional intermediary and/or beneficiary fees.
  • Domestic Bank Wire Transfers do not incur any processing fees and will typically reach your local Australian bank account the following working day.
  • Credit / Debit Card withdrawals* are processed free of charge. Once processed, Credit / Debit Card withdrawals may take 3-5 business days to reach your credit card. You should however be aware that in some rare occasions, this may sometimes take up to 10 business days depending on the bank's end.

    *Please note Credit card withdrawals may not be available for all countries.
  • Should you wish to withdraw an amount in excess of the sum deposited by Verified by Visa / MasterCard Secure Credit / Debit Card, you will be required to utilize another deposit method used earlier or a bank wire option.
  • Withdrawals via PayPal, Neteller, or Skrill must be made to the same account from which the original deposit was received. These transactions are typically processed free of charge; however, we reserve the right to pass on any applicable fees at our discretion.
  • If the credit/debit card you have used for depositing has expired, been stolen/lost/damaged/cancelled, you would be required to provide us with a letter supplied by the old card's issuing bank confirming the non-validity of the old card and issuing of the replacement card or as an alternative a bank statement showing the latest transactions towards IC Markets made by the old card.
  • IC Markets, at its own discretion, may ask you to submit supporting documentation (for example, deposit receipts for the payments processed via old card or card statement showing deposit transactions) before releasing funds to the new card or a linked Bank account.
  • To withdraw an amount more than the sum deposited by Verified by Visa / MasterCard Secure Credit / Debit Card, you will be required to use another deposit method that has been used earlier or a bank wire transfer option.
  • Accounts funded by Bpay are withdrawn via bank wire transfers and do not incur any additional bank charges if withdrawn to a domestic bank account. Domestic Bank Transfers within Australia will usually reach your bank within 2-3 business days.
  • For first Wire transfer withdrawals, we require that you provide us with a supporting copy of the bank statement related to your registered bank account.
  • Kindly note to ensure the security of your funds, all withdrawal requests require additional confirmation. You can do this by clicking the 'Confirm Withdrawal' button in the email you will receive after submitting your request.
  • IC Markets does not process payments to third parties. Please ensure that all withdrawal requests from your trading account go to a bank account or a source in your name. Payments to Joint Bank Accounts / Credit Cards are accepted if the trading account holder is one of the parties on the Bank Account / Credit Card.
